Trail Rides

Experience the beauty of South Georgia from the saddle with one of our guided trail rides. Each ride begins with hands-on grooming, tack-up, mounting assistance, and a short arena introduction to help riders feel comfortable before heading out on the trail. We offer two trail ride options designed for different levels of adventure.

On-Property Farm Ride
Duration: 45–60 minutes
Standard Rate: $75.00 per rider
Wayne County Residents: $65.00 per rider
Our on-property trail ride is a relaxed, beginner-friendly ride around Freedom Reins Farm. Guests enjoy a peaceful ride beneath the Georgia pines while taking in views of the pastures and ponds.
Recommended For: Beginners, families, and younger riders.

South Georgia Scenic Loop 
Duration: 75–90 minutes
Standard Rate: $95.00 per rider
Wayne County Residents: $85.00 per rider
This longer ride ventures beyond the farm for a scenic countryside experience through quiet sandy roads and open farmland before returning to Freedom Reins Farm.
Recommended For: Riders looking for a longer and more adventurous trail ride.
Availability: By appointment only, Friday through Sunday
Group Size: Limited to small groups of four riders

Interactive Farm Tours

Enjoy a hands-on 60-minute Interactive Farm Experience at Freedom Reins Farm, where families meet our gentle horses, interact with adorable baby farm animals, and learn about real ranch life in a safe, welcoming setting. This small-group experience is thoughtfully designed to be personal, educational, and fun for animal lovers of all ages. Visits are scheduled by appointment to ensure each family receives a relaxed, high-quality experience.

Summer Camp

Freedom Reins Summer Camp is a structured half-day program held Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM during select weeks in June and July, culminating in a student rodeo each Friday. Campers are grouped by age and rotate between mounted riding instruction and engaging horse science sessions. This thoughtfully designed program builds horsemanship skills, confidence, and teamwork in a safe, supportive environment.

2026 Availability: July 6–10, July 13–17, July 20–24, and July 27–31
Camp Size: 8 campers per session (4 Colts and 4 Mustangs groups)
Tuition: $450.00 per camper
Wayne County Residents & Active Duty/Veteran Rate: $350.00 per camper

Rural Camping

Escape to the quiet beauty of Freedom Reins Farm with our peaceful rural tent camping sites nestled beneath a canopy of Georgia pines. Each private campsite features a dedicated fire pit with grill grate—perfect for classic campfire cooking and relaxing evenings under the stars. Guests are also welcome to enjoy catch-and-release fishing in our separate bass and catfish ponds and explore scenic walking paths that wind through the property’s natural pine landscape.

Riding School

Freedom Reins Farm & Riding School offers 50-minute Western horsemanship and riding lessons for students ages 5–17, taught through empathetic encouragement in a safe, structured, and educational environment. Our program focuses on true horse-first communication using the ask, tell, make philosophy, helping young riders build confidence, responsibility, and solid riding fundamentals both in and out of the saddle.
